Bei diesem Outfit habe ich mich ein klein wenig an der Mode der späten 1950er beziehungsweise frühen 1960er Jahre inspirieren lassen. Stirnband und Mantel haben mir zusammen so gut gefallen, dass wir spontan ein Outfit-Shooting bei einem Spaziergang gemacht haben – der sich allerdings nicht allzu lange hinzog. Uns war einfach zu schnell kalt. Dafür konnten wir diesen wirklich sehr schönen und stimmungsvollen Sonnenuntergang genießen.
For this look, I was a little bit inspired by the fashion of the late 1950s or early 1960s. When I matched the coat with the headband, I immediately liked it so I decided to do an outfit shooting right away. We had a little walk outside, but we didn’t stay for too long – it was too cold. In return we were able to enjoy this nice and atmospheric sundown!

Ein bisschen erinnern mich die Fotos, vor allem von Farben und Stimmung her, auch an ein paar abendliche Bilder die wir in Ägypten geknipst haben! Da war es auch noch so schön sommerlich warm, ich denke so gerne daran zurück. In diesem Punkt bin ich mir auch absolut sicher: Ich bin einfach ein Sommermensch. Ich friere grundsätzlich, wenn es weniger als 20 Grad hat – vielleicht sollte ich mal überlegen, in ein anderes Land umzuziehen! Am Mittwoch geht’s aber erstmal nach Berlin, zur Fashion Week. Ich bin ja schon so aufgeregt! :) Wenn ihr nichts verpassen wollt, dann verfolgt mich doch einfach auf meiner Facebook-Seite und auf meinem YouTube-Kanal! The photos remind me a little of the pictures we took one evening in Egypt, especially because of the colors and the mood. It was so summer-like and warm there and I like to look back to these days! At one point, I am absolutely sure: I am just a lover of summer. I don’t know why, but I freeze when it’s under 20 degrees. Maybe I should think about moving to a warmer country! But for now, I’ll head to Berlin this Wednesday for Fashion Week. I’m already so excitet! :) If you don’t want to miss anything, you can follow my Facebook page and my Youtube channel. Momentan beschäftigt sich eine Hälfte meines Gehirns mit Fächern wie Statistik, Makroökonomik oder Wirtschaftspolitik, in der anderen Hälfte dreht sich jedoch alles um ein anderes Thema: Die Fashion Week Berlin. Nur mehr 5 Tage, und ich werde zum mittlerweile dritten Mal die Hauptstadt besuchen. Dieses Mal darf ich die liebe Anne von Styles You Love begleiten. Wir haben auch ein paar tolle Sachen geplant, aber mehr wird noch nicht verraten.
At the moment, one half of my brain deals with subjects like statistics, macroeconomics or economic policy, while the other half of it occupies itself with one big topic: Fashion Week Berlin. In less than 5 days I’ll visit the German capital for the third time. This time I will accompany lovely Anne from Styles You Love. We planned some cool things, but I won’t tell you more yet.
Mein Schedule ist noch nicht endgültig, da kommen wahrscheinlich noch einige Shows dazu und ich vielleicht schaffe ich es ja auch in den ein oder anderen Showroom oder auf die Premium, mal sehen, was sich da noch so anbahnt. Aber ihr seht ja dann rechtzeitig, über welche Shows ich so schreibe! ;)
My schedule is not complete yet, there will probably some other shows I can attend and maybe I’ll have some time to visit a showroom or the Premium exhibition – we will see. But you will discover anyway what shows I will write about soon enough! ;)
Die Outfitplanung gehört für mich genauso zur Fashion Week wie die Planung des ganzen Zeitablaufs. Auch hier will ich die Überraschung nicht vermiesen, aber indirekt habe ich es ja schon in meinem letzten Post angekündigt: Das neue Samtkleid aus dem Sale wird zusammen mit meiner geliebten Miu Miu Clutch und den neuen Louboutins, die ich zu Weihnachten bekommen habe, zur Michalsky Stylenite ausgeführt. Seit ihr auch schon so aufgeregt wie ich? Wer von euch wird auch in Berlin sein?
For me, outfit planning belongs to Fashion Week as much as time scheduling. I won’t spoil the surprise about what I wear, but I have indirectly already told you something about that in my last post: For the Michalsky Stylenite I will wear the new velvet dress I bought at the H&M sale matched to my beloved Miu Miu clutch and my new Louboutins I received as a present for Christmas. Are you as excited as I am?? Who will be in Berlin too?
Bisher war ich relativ unbeeindruckt vom H&M Sale, wahrscheinlich auch gerade deswegen, weil ich gedanklich schon in der Frühjahrs-Welt unterwegs bin. Wegen ebendieser Frühjahrskollektion schaute ich heute auch einmal kurz im Laden vorbei, da online ein paar Teile, die ich gerne hätte, momentan ausverkauft sind. Leider fand ich auch im Laden nichts von dem Begehrten, stattdessen hat dieses Wahnsinns-Samtkleid meine Aufmerksamkeit auf sich gezogen. Seit Ewigkeiten suche ich nach einem schlichten Samtkleid, und da hing es: einfach so, ganz allein, für 15 Euro. Juchee! Wurde natürlich gleich gekauft. Es freut sich auch schon sehr darauf, auf der Michalsky Stylenite auf der Fashion Week Berlin in gut einer Woche ausgeführt zu werden!
Until today I was quite unimpressed by the sale at H&M, mainly because in my thoughts, I’m already totally into spring. Exactly this spring collection was the actual reason for me to visit an H&M shop today, because most of the items I wanted are sold out online at the moment. Unfortunately there was none of the things I wished to find, but then I saw this unbelievable great velvet dress. I was searching for a simple velvet dress for ages, and there it was: just hanging around, lonely, for only 15 Euro. Yay! Of course I bought it immediately. It is now really looking forward to be worn at the Michalsky Stylenite at Fashion Week Berlin starting in one week!
Noch ein Blogeintrag, der eigentlich ins alte Jahr gehört hätte – aber besser spät als nie, richtig? ;) Zwei Tage vor Silvester habe ich mit ein paar Freunden einen Tagestrip nach Salzburg unternommen. Es war ein wirklich netter Ausflug – abgesehen vom Wetter. Grau in grau und eisig kalt, zum Glück hat der Regen pünktlich mit unserer Ankunft aufgehört. Ich muss die Mozart-Stadt unbedingt nochmal bei angenehmeren Umweltbedingungen besuchen!
Here’s another blog post which actually belongs to 2011, but better late than never, right? ;) Two days before New Year’s Eve I went on a day trip to Salzburg with friends. It was really a nice travel – apart from the weather. Grey sky and freezing cold, we only were lucky that the rain stopped when we arrived. For sure I have to visit Mozart’s city again when the environmental conditions are better…
Natürlich kann man sich an einem halben Tag auch nicht die komplette Stadt ansehen, also stand folgendes auf dem Programm: Zuerst machten wir einen Spaziergang durch den Garten vom Schloss Mirabell, der witterungsbedingt leider zum Teil abgesperrt war. Unser Weg führte uns weiter zur Getreidegasse. Eine wirklich hübsche Gasse, in der alle Läden kleine Schildchen in antiker Aufmache vor die Tür gehängt bekommen haben, um das Stadtbild zu erhalten. Weiter ging es zum Alten Markt mit dem “kleinsten Haus”, und schließlich zum Salzburger Dom.
Of course we couldn’t visit the whole city on half a day, so we decided to follow this program: First we went for a walk through the garden of the Mirabell castle, but it was partially closed because of the weather. We made our way through the streets and came to famous Getreidegasse, a cute old street where every shop has a little antique-looking sign on the wall, to preserve the townscape. We proceeded to the “Alter Markt” (a square) where also the “smallest house” of Salzburg is located, and finally reached the Salzburger Dom, a huge cathedral.
Nachdem wir uns ausgiebig aufgewärmt und gestärkt haben, machten wir uns noch mit den letzten Sonnenstrahlen an den Aufstieg zur Festung Hohensalzburg, wo wir dann nicht nur den Sonnenuntergang, sondern auch einen atemberaubenden Ausblick bewundern konnten. Auf jeden Fall wiederholungsbedüftig!
After warming up with a hot (and late) lunch, we climbed the top of at the old fortress “Hohensalzburg” just right before sundown. So we were not only able to watch the sunset, but also the breathtaking view over the whole city. It’s a must for me to visit Salzburg again!
Wir haben diese Fotos schon vor einer ganzen Weile geschossen – ja, sogar schon vor Weihnachten. Ich glaube, jetzt ist der perfekte Zeitpunkt gekommen um sie euch endlich zu zeigen. Ich hatte einfach so viel Spaß ein wenig mit diesem Kleid zu experimentieren und habe mir auch eine klitzekleine Geschichte ausgedacht. Und ich meine wirklich nur klitzeklein: Ich ziehe meine Schuhe und meine Jacke an, um dann zu einer Party zu gehen. Wie auch immer, es hat einfach so viel Spaß gemacht, diese Fotos zu knipsen, also nehmt sie nicht allzu ernst! :)
We took these photos a while ago, even before Christmas, but I think now the time is perfect to show them to you! I just had so much fun playing around with this dress and I tried to put a little story into these shots. Well, it’s pretty little indeed – I just put on my shoes and jacket and then leave to go out for a party. It was huge fun to take these pictures anyway so don’t take them too serious! :)
