Habt ihr euch schon den Werbespot für Marni at H&M von Sofia Coppola angesehen? Die Kollektion hat auf jeden Fall um einiges mehr meinen Geschmack getroffen als die vorherige Kooperation mit Versace. Auch vom Videoschnitt her finde ich das Mini-Filmchen sehr ansprechend, und die musikalische Untermalung mit “Avalon” verbreitet eine entspannt-melancholische Atmosphäre. Die süße Schauspielerin Imogen Poots setzt dem ganzen dann noch das Sahnehäubchen auf. Die Kollektion, die am 8. März erscheint, wartet unter der Regie von Kreativdirektorin Consuelo Castiglioni ganz Marni-typisch mit starken Mustern und verspielter Eleganz auf. Wie gespannt seid ihr auf die Kollaboration? Have you already seen the commercial for Marni at H&M by Sofia Coppola? This collection is definitely much more my taste than the Versace cooperation. Also the way how the video was edited makes the short movie quite interesting, and the background music “Avalon” lets you feel a relaxing, melancholic atmosphere. The collection designed by creative director Consuelo Castiglioni will be available from March 8th and awaites us with many Marni-like patterns and a sportive elegance. Ich werde immer wieder gefragt, wie man denn nun an Karten für die Lange Nacht der Mode rankommt. Für euch habe ich mich mal ein bisschen schlau gemacht.
Since I receive some e-mails in the last days where to get tickets for “Lange Nacht der Mode” in Munich (Fashion Week Munich kick-off), I have some news for you to share!

Good news: You can buy tickets for the aftershow party (Filmcasino, 22:30pm, 8€) right on location.** Wie ihr sicherlich bemerkt habt, sieht es zwecks Karten für das Event selbst sieht es da nicht ganz so rosig aus, aber einen kleinen Geheimtipp habe ich entdeckt: Die Jolie verlost aktuell drei mal 2 Karten in ihrer aktuellen Ausgabe.
As you might have discovered, it’s not too easy to get access to the event, but at least I found one possibility at the moment: Jolie offers the opportunity to win three times two entrance cards in their current issue.

Wie versprochen: Der zweite Teil meines kleinen Rückblicks mit Details und Trends der vergangenen Fashion Week Berlin. Neben den Details in meinem ersten Artikel sind mir noch ein paar mehr Gemeinsamkeiten aufgefallen. Den ersten Teil gibt es noch einmal hier zum Nachlesen.
As promised: The second part of my little review about trends and details I discovered at Fashion Week Berlin. Besides the details I described in my first article, I also found some additional trends. You can read the first part here.
Pailletten, Glitzer, Fellelemente und ein breites Spektrum an Farben und Mustern sah man ja beinahe in jeder Show (siehe Teil eins meines Artikels!). Daneben war auch Transparenz ein nicht zu vernachlässigendes Thema. Malaikaraiss meisterte diese Königsdisziplin hervorragend, nebenbei gehörte ihre Kollektion auch zu meinen Favoriten. Auch bei Von Bardonitz kam man nicht umhin, transparente Stoffe zu begutachten. Allerdings bewerkstelligte Nicole Roscher diese Herausforderung auf eine ganz eigene Art und Weise. Genauso arbeiteten aber auch C’est Tout, Mongrels in Common oder Perret Schaad mit durchscheinenden Materialien.
Sequins, glitter, fur elements and a wide range of colors and patterns were seen at nearly every show (have a look at the first part of my article!). Besides this, transparency was a big topic too. Malaikaraiss mastered this supreme discipline brilliantly which makes her to one of my favorite designers during the whole Fashion Week. But also von Bardonitz used translucent fabrics, with Nicole Roscher interpreting the subject in her own way. The labels C’est tout, Mongrels in Common or Perret Schaad also came up with sheer materials.
Offenbar sind Midi-Röcke oder zumindest die Knielänge wieder im Kommen: Nach Mini und Maxi können wir uns jetzt über eine elegante und zugleich tragbare Rock-Länge freuen. Im Winter ist doch ein etwas längerer Rock weitaus angenehmer als ein Minirock, nicht? ;) Vor allem in leicht ausgestellter Variante ist mir das hübsche Stück bei Lena Hoschek (dort gleich in mehrfacher Ausführung), Alexandra Kiesel und Mongrels in Common aufgefallen.
Obviously, midi skirts are en vogue again. After mini and maxi we’re able to enjoy an elegant but still comfortable skirt length. Seems to be very welcome to prefer a longer skirt than a mini one during winter, doesn’t it? ;) I especially spotted full skirt models at Lena Hoschek, Alexandra Kiesel and Mongrels in Common.
Auf den Gürtel geguckt: Dort lässt sich nicht wirklich ein Trend ausmachen. Allenfalls, dass man Gürtel zu jeder Gelegenheit tragen kann. Ob aus Spitze zum süßen Kleidchen bei Lena Hoschek, aus Steppkissen bei Beautyberry oder in mehreren Lagen wie bei Rebekka Ruétz. Letztere Variante fand ich persönlich übrigens ziemlich gelungen. Nach so einem Gürtelmodell muss ich unbedingt mal Ausschau halten.
Belt watch: I can’t say there’s a special trend here. But seemingly you can wear a belt to every occasion. Whether it’s a belt made of lace combined with a cute dress at Lena Hoschek, a belt looking like a quilted pillow at Beautyberry or a layered belt at Rebekka Ruétz. The last one was quite a must for me, I’ll have to look out for a similar one.
Zuletzt sind mir bei der Abschluss-Show, Noir, am Samstagabend noch die verschiedenen Krägen aufgefallen, die Tilde Bjerregaard entworfen hat. Ein Hemdkragen wird über einen Rollkragen gestülpt oder als doppelte Variante übereinander getragen. Manchmal trägt man ihn auch komplett von der Bluse losgelöst als Halsaccessoire. Die Kombination aus Neckholder und normalen, breiteren Trägern (auf dem vierten Bild) fand ich besonders gelungen.
During the show of Noir which was also the final show on saturday, the collars Tilde Bjerregaard created drew my attention: One collar was put on top of a turtle neck, anotherone was worn like a necklace as an independent accessory or, quite interesting, the designer layered two collars. I loved the combination of a neckholder and a normal sleeveless blouse (fourth picture).
Eine interessante Verwendung von Falten fand sich bei Marcel Ostertag wieder: Hier hat es der Designer geschafft, durch geschickte Stoffraffungen einen voluminösen Look des Kurzmantels zu erzeugen. Nicht ganz zum Thema passt Bild Nummer zwei, aber in diese großartige Statement-Kette habe ich mich auf Anhieb verliebt. Dazu präsentierte Ostertag ein edles Color-Blocking Kleid in Erdtönen. Perret Schaad dagegeben präsentieren einen asymmetrischen Faltenwurf am Rücken.
Faltenreich geht es auch bei Dimitri zu – einen Rock mit unzähligen Lagen an plissierten Falten übereinander präsentierte der Designer am Rock einer Abendrobe.
Gut gelungen ist der dezentere Einsatz von Falten der Designerin Rebekka Ruétz, die eine Reihe von schmalen, vertikal verlaufenden Falten in ein nudefarbenes Spitzenkleid integriert hat.
At Marcel Ostertag, I found an interesting usage of pleats: The designer created a voluminous look by draping the fabric cleverly. Not quite fitting to the topic, but I kind of fell in love with this great statement necklace which was presented in the Marcel Ostertag show as well. He matched it to an elegant color blocking dress in earth tones. In contrast, Perret Schaad featured a asymmetric drapery on the reverse side of a blouse.
Many drapes also at Dimitri’s show: The designer made a skirt over and over covered with innumerable layers of pleats. Gorgeous!
Well done was also the more restrained usage of tucks in the show of Rebekka Ruétz, who integrated some more narrow kinds of pleats vertically in a nude colored lace dress.

Für die liebe Candi vom Blog Taschenqueen habe ich mal meine Handtasche ausgekippt und den Inhalt analysiert. Unordnung gibt’s hier keine, denn das Modell BonBon von Furla besitzt einen durchsichtigen Boden. Immer dabei habe ich allerdings meinen Geldbeutel von sOliver (ein Geburtstagsgeschenk von meinen Freundinnen), mein iPhone, einen Schlüsselbund und einen Kalender von Paperblanks, den ich auch als Notizbuch benutze. Den kompletten Text und was ich täglich so mit mir herumschleife, könnt ihr bei der Taschenqueen nachlesen.
For dear Candi from the blog “Taschenqueen” (it’s mainly about one of a girl’s biggest addiction, bags) I emptied my bag and analysed what’s in it. There can’t be too much mess in my Furla BonBon bag, because its bottom is transparent. I always carry around my wallet by sOliver, my iPhone, my keys and a calender from paperblanks which I also use as a notebook. See the whole article on “Taschenqueen”. ;)
