My Summer Trends And Must Haves 2011

Bei dem schmuddeligen Wetter draußen kann man nur eine vernünftige Sache tun: Vom schönen Wetter träumen! Nicht nur das habe ich ausführlichst getan, sondern nebenbei auch noch meine Sommer Trends und Must Haves für den gerade angelaufenen Sommer zusammengestellt.

The only really good thing you can do while the weather outside is rainy and cold: Dream of nice sunny summer weather! So I didn’t do only this quite extensive, no – I also assembled my trends and must haves of this summer that has just begun.

Color Blocking

Der erste Trend, dem ich zur Zeit auch ziemlich verfallen bin, ist der aktuelle Color Blocking Trend. Man kann ihn in vielen Kollektionen auf dem Laufsteg, in fast allen Modeblogs (auch auf meinem), in jedem Magazin und in allen möglichen Shops entdecken. Aber ehrlich: So ein farbenfrohes Outfit macht auch einfach gute Laune! Ich bin zur Zeit total verrückt nach orange, weshalb ich auch ein Kleid und ein Armband in dieser Knallfarbe selbst genäht habe.

The first trend I am really obsessed with is the current color blocking trend. You can discover it on the runway, on nearly every fashion blog (including mine), in so many magazines and of course in the stores. But to be honest: A really colorful look makes you just happy! I’m totally into orange at the moment, so I made a dress and a bracelet by myself.

Boho Chic

Boho-Prints sind nicht ganz so mein Fall, aber in kleinen Häppchen als Accessoires finde ich den Boho Trend super chic! Die Armreife, Ketten und Ringe sind allesamt bei H&M erhältlich. Vielleicht werde ich da bei dem ein oder anderen Teil auch noch zuschlagen.

Boho prints are not my first choice, but some Boho items are perfect for me as accessoires. All of the cuffs, necklaces and rings are from H&M, so maybe I have to stop by the next H&M store soon. Perhaps I will buy one of them!

Denim Love

Jeans. Auch wenn ich absolut kein Fan von den aktuellen Flare Jeans mit weitem Schlag ganz gemäß den Siebzigern bin, trage ich doch fast täglich Jeans und auch die großen Designer haben mal wieder Gefallen an diesem Trend gefunden – zu sehen war der blaue Stoff unter anderem bei Lanvin, D&G, Balmain, Sienna Miller, Mulberry, Just Cavalli… Und sind die Zara Wedges nicht einfach herrlich??

Denim. Even if I am absolutely no fan of the current seventies-styled flare jeans with an extra wide leg, I have to admit that I wear denim nearly every day. And also the big designers seem to be obsessed with this trend again – the blue fabric was seen for example at Lavin, D&G, Balmin, Sienna Miller, Mulberry, Just Cavalli… And aren’t there zara wedges just amazing??

Must Haves

Weitere Must Haves sind meiner Meinung nach ein Floppy Hat, vorzugsweise in weiß (wie in der Raffaelo Werbung ), eine Sonnenbrille in Cat-Eye-Form, ein schicker Badeanzug, eine schöne Strandtasche, natürlich ein Maxi Dress – und dann noch bitte einen schönen Strand, Sonne und einen erfrischenden Cocktail. Alles zum mitnehmen.

Other summer must haves are for me a floppy hat, preferred in white, cat eye sunglasses, a chic swim suit, a nice bag for the beach and of course a maxi dress – and in addition I would like to have a nice beach, sun and a refreshing cocktail. For take away, please.
